Eg ziet zichzelf niet als fotograaf maar als beeldenmaker. Er wordt nogal eens geknutseld, wil ze tot een beeld komen. Haar werk is voornamelijk diffuus van aard. Is het niet door beweging of diafragma-keuze, dan wel door zelfgemaakte filters. De wens weer kind te kunnen zijn, de behoefte aan spelen en herinneringen aan … liggen aan de basis van haar ideeënwereld.
En Eg (1966, Hilversum) fotografeert sinds 2012. Zij heeft les gehad bij fotoschool Statief, Learning Train en Fotogram en het Rijksmuseum.
